Tired of being chained to your desk?
Set your pulse racing with Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Workplace Activity Challenge.

May is Physical Activity Month and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba wants Manitobans to STOP the obesity epidemic and GO get active today, that is why for the third year in a row, HSFM is holding its Workplace Physical Activity Challenge, inviting workplaces from across the province to join in the evolution of an active workplace.

What is the Workplace Physical Activity Challenge?
The Workplace Physical Activity Challenge is an initiative of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba (HSFM) aimed at encouraging Manitoba’s workplaces to get up and get active. Employees will record how many steps they accumulate in a day over the course of ten working days from May 10 to May 23, 2009. Workplaces can designate a Team Leader to add these steps and will have until June 5, 2009 to submit their results to HSFM for the opportunity to win great prizes. Winners will be announced at the end of June.
